Questions
FAQ
What does the beautifier change?
Only spaces and line breaks. Function names, strings and values stay exactly as you typed them, so the formatted expression behaves the same as the original.
Which languages does it support?
Power Automate expressions (the Workflow Definition Language, with 'single-quoted' strings) and Power Apps Power Fx formulas (with "double-quoted" strings). It detects the language for you, or you can choose it.
Can I paste the formatted version back into Power Automate?
Power Automate accepts the formatted version, but the expression box is small, so many makers keep the one-line version in the flow and use the formatted one for reading and debugging. "One line" copies a compact version.
Does it tell me whether my expression will work?
It catches structural mistakes: unbalanced brackets, unclosed strings and empty arguments. It cannot know whether a function name, an action name or a field exists in your flow or app.
Is my expression sent anywhere?
No. Formatting happens entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or stored.
