Set

Sets a global variable that every screen in the app can read.

Syntax

Set(VariableName, Value)

Examples

```
=Set(Index(Index(DataTable, 1), 1), 42)
```
Puts 42 in the first cell of a data table
```
=Set(customObject.status, "Done")
```
Updates one property of a custom object

Maker notes

In desktop flows, Set can update a list item or object property, for example =Set(customObject.property, 17). Use the Set variable action for plain variables.
